There are several community service opportunities coming up in April. Please sign up at the corresponding signup genius page upon your availability.
Spring Book Sale at the Library
Friends of the Library will have annual spring book sale from Friday April 10 to Sunday April 12. They will need help for setting up on Wednesday April 8, 6-8 pm and breakdown on Sunday April 12, 4-5 pm.
Pole Capping
Troop 114 will proudly support the Bedford Pole Capping event on Saturday April 11 this year. Our scouts will provide crowd control and help people and participants who attend the event. We will gather at the Town Common by 10 am and follow the parade to Wilson Park for the ceremony. Please see the note from Bedford Minuteman Company in the attachment. Scouts are required to be in their Class A uniforms.
Pay it Forward Meal Packaging
Bedford Rotary is doing Pay it Forward Meals for Haiti again this year. Troop 114 will help their Meal Packaging event on Saturday April 25 at the Middlesex Community College. Our troop will be in for the first shift of meal packaging from 8:45 to 11:15 am. Check out their promotional video for more information on what meal packaging for children in Haiti all about!
