The Nashua Valley Council CIT program is now accepting applications for the 2015 camp season. The CIT program lasts for 4 weeks including staff week, a week at Camp Wanocksett, a week at Camp Split Rock (our cub scout camp), and one week other week at either camp. There are many benefits of this program including:

  1. Leadership skills and training

  2. Cross-troop and council relationship building

  3. At least two merit badges per week

  4. Most importantly - Fun!

In order to apply scouts must be first class and be 14 by June 19th, 2015. The attached flyer provides more information about the program and its benefits. The application can be found at [this link]. Applications are due by April 15th. For more information please contact Anthony Cuoco, 2015 CIT Director, at cit@campwanocksett.org.

A number of Troop 114 senior scouts have done this program. It is a great learning experience. It is also a requirement if they would like to become camp staff. If you would like more questions answered about this program, please contact me.
