For summer camp, two provisional patrols were formed, with Jake B as patrol leader for the Spiders and Noah S as patrol leader for the Wolverines. Aidan D was appointed acting senior patrol leader. Patrols competed for a Patrol Spirit award by participating in patrol activities and earning beads in various categories. The Spiders won the competition with a score of 23 beads, to 21 for the Wolverines. The Spiders enjoyed bragging rights and a free ice cream or soda from the trading post, hosted by the scoutmaster.

The troop won the "Golden Broom" award for the tidiest campsite, with the high distinction of claiming the Broom for the entire week. A contributing camp improvement was a temporary gateway, constructed of bamboo poles and lashings, featuring a Troop 114 banner and providing a distinctive entryway into our campsite. We look forward to returning to our beloved "Sioux" campsite again next year!
