Scout Skills Weekend 2009

Here are a few pictures of Scout Skills Weekend (2009).

• In addition to skills like orienteering and knot tying, we practiced lashing by building catapults.
• And then launching pumpkins! (not necessarily a Scout skill but a lot of fun).
• Meanwhile, the dads from Troop 114 were busy cooking the turkey dinner for the adults (this is an amazing meal by the way).
• As twilight settled in, the scouts started preparing the meals for themselves and the Webelos.

And of course there was plenty of guitar playing and singing and relaxing around the fire. We hope you can join us for what is always a fun weekend. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
