The 2009-2010 school year will be an exciting on for Troop 114. We already have a long list of fun activities, with many of the Scouts preparing for the trek to Philmont this summer, and others prepairing for the National Jamboree. It is the 100th year of Boy Scouts in the United States, and across the country many special events are being planned. Of course, all of these activities mean there are many oportunities to run one of these trips or activities. And since they are universally fun for the Scouts and the Adults, what better way is there to have fun than to volunteer! We need adults to help plan trips, and there are countless small ways in which you can be a big help. If you have not yet volunteered in some way, please contact Mr. Knicely. He guarantees that he can find a meaningful and interesting role for you that will fit the amount of time you are willing to invest. |
