This will be our best rafting trip ever! Because it isn’t going to be just a raft trip. Sure, there’ll be rafting on the Kennebec River. Of course, all kids can go down the river (those under 12 will be in the raft but won’t have to paddle). On Saturday, we’ll test our nerves and teamwork skills on the ropes course! Franconia Ridge is one of New Englands most incredible places to hike. We'll spend Friday night at base camp, then hike to the ridge on Saturday. Depending on numbers and interest, older scouts may choose to backpack on to on spend Saturday night on the ridge. Others will return to base camp. - May 13, 2007 - Early bird outstanding balance of $285 for summer camp is due.
- June 17, 2007 - All outstanding balances for summer camp and camp photo are due.
- June 17, 2007 - ALL medical forms are due.

Work on the Pulp and Paper Merit Badge on one half-day Wednesday afternoon at the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park. This two-hour session will be conducted by trained museum staff. Shelburne Falls Winter CampingAn Old Style trip - scouting with tents in the snow and cooking on open fires! Activities will include - Winter Tent Camping,
- Cooking over open fire,
- Hiking,
- Sliding if there is any snow
- Sunday breakfast at a Maple Sugaring factory with a tour of the facility.
